SANDERS
Eliza (nee ILES), b 13 Nov 1832 Brighton, Sussex, England, arr 1853 Melbourne with parents and siblings, m 1854 James SANDERS, moved to Creswick, 11 children, the last born in Creswick in 1879 when Eliza was 47.
According to the death certificates of her father (1878) her mother (1888) and her eldest daughter Elizabeth (1896), Eliza was still living. According to her youngest daughter's marriage certificate (1913), Eliza was deceased. Thus, she died between 1896 and 1913. Eliza and James did not own any property. James' obituary in 1919 refers to 'his dearly beloved wife, the late Eliza'. Nevertheless, I have checked divorce records. I have checked the death records in all States. None of her children married or died between 1896 and 1913. I have also searched electoral rolls and rates listings. If she died in an asylum, she still has to be buried somewhere. When and where did she die?
